Welcome to our blog!!

Well, alot of my friends and family have blog sites and I thought it would be fun to set one up for my kids so that our friends & family can watch the kids grow up through pictures & stories!! I should start off by saying a little bit about our family:)

Justin was born 07/15/78 in Santa Rosa and although he left to West Virginia for a few of his teenage years, he has remained here ever since. He loves to spend time in the outdoors whether it be golfing, fishing, abalone diving or camping. Any chance he gets to go outside...he does:) He has just recently celebrated 4 years of sobriety (his bday is 08/05/03) and we are VERY proud of him!!

I (Christina) was born 07/21/80 in Santa Rosa and I have never left!! I love it here and am so excited to raise my children in the same beautiful town that I grew up in! I work in accounting for the County of Sonoma but my long term goal is to be an Alcohol & Other Drug Services Counselor for the county. I would love to retire one day knowing that i touched people and helped them live better lives.

We got married on Feb 26th, 2004 and quickly began preparing for the arrival of our first child, Jaydin Alan. God blessed our lives when Jaydin entered the world on Oct 3rd, 2004. We could not imagine a better feeling in the world than becoming parents:) We experienced the feeling all over again when our daughter, Makenna Rylee, was born on April 12th, 2007

We sit back and watch our kids play together and we couldnt even begin to imagine a closer bond then the one that Makenna & Jaydin share. Jaydin was so welcoming and open to having Makenna join our family and they are definitely best friends already!!

Ok, so there is a little about our family to start you off and we will continue to update this blog at least once a week here on out!!
Here are recent pictures of the kids. I just cant believe how much Makenna looks like Justin!! And Jaydin has definitely grown from looking like a baby to being a little man:) I just cant help but smile everytime I look at my beautiful children. I feel blessed beyond anything I could ever have imagined.

Hello Christina, what a great idea to create a blog and thanks for sharing with me. Jaydin and Makenna continue to grow up to be adorable children. It's hard to believe that Jaydin will be 3 years old -- where does the time go? I hope that Jaydin's ears will stay healthy with no infections. He's a brave little guy.
